Status / Term : Temporary / Auxiliary - Anticipated 70 hours bi-weekly until March 2026

Classification / Salary : Social Program Officer (Growth to R24) / Starting at $39.30 to $41.65 hourly

Location : Prince George (Hybrid - 3 days a week in office, after passing a 6-month probation)

About the Role :

As a Quality Service Analyst at CLBC, you will be the primary point of contact for service providers, representing CLBC. You will lead negotiations for funding and service levels, review and monitor contracts for quality, develop and approve new resources, manage service requests, and ensure crisis response systems are in place.

Key responsibilities :

  • Develop service contracts or agreements and negotiate costs and quantities
  • Negotiate contract costs and advise on corrective actions in service delivery
  • Consult with Facilitators about support requests, service availability, and resources
  • Conduct on-site reviews and investigate service issues
  • Assist individuals and families in crisis situations
  • Build and develop new service relationships
  • Ensure service collaboration and develop cost-sharing agreements
  • Coordinate with staff regarding funding limitations and participate in budget management
  • Review financial reports to ensure service delivery aligns with funding

What you will bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Work, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience in social services, resource development, or contract management
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Developing and maintaining service networks
  • Representing CLBC professionally in the community
  • Working independently and seeking continuous improvement
  • Resolving conflicts and handling urgent situations effectively

  • Occasional local travel required
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Successful applicants will undergo a Criminal Record Check
