Kenvue is currently recruiting for a Quality Scientist III - Reviewer (15 Month Contract). This position reports into Christina DePass and is based at Guelph, Ontario.

What you will do

The Quality Scientist III will review analytical testing of raw materials, packaging components, bulk work in process, finished products, marketed product stability, cleaning validation, and protocols. They will focus on complex reviews such as impurities, and will be certified to train others. Responsibilities include owning activities related to method and cleaning validation, supporting investigations, and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently review bulk work in progress, finished products, and stability, focusing on complex impurities.
  • Represent the Quality Lab for large site projects including change control ownership.
  • Mentor other Quality Scientists, including complex impurity reviews.
  • Own laboratory investigations as required.
  • Act as delegate for Laboratory Supervisor, as required.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for audits.
  • Potentially supervise laboratory co-op students.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • B.Sc in Science or related field
  • 8+ years of related laboratory experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of quality control principles and lab procedures (USP, GMP, GDP)

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong digital literacy (Labware LIMS, Biovia LES, SAP)
  • Technical writing experience
