This position is based at Dentalcorp’s Support Centre at 181 Bay Street, Toronto, reporting to the Director of Regulatory Compliance. The Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the Risk and Compliance Team within a dynamic healthcare organization. Responsibilities include providing exceptional administrative support such as managing calendars, drafting professional correspondence, and coordinating meetings. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist with initiatives related to healthcare regulations, professional registrations, licensure, and practice permits.

In this role, you will

  • Prepare communications for clinicians, partners, and practice managers to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Monitor and assign incoming Compliance tickets for timely resolution.
  • Manage Compliance and Risk team inboxes, triaging emails and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Submit weekly Compliance Performance Updates (Weekly Bites), ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Process and track invoices related to Compliance and Risk Management using the Coupa procurement system.
  • Support presentation development, educational sessions, and maintain document management and retention practices.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, conduct research under supervision, and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Create and manage content for Compliance and Risk Communications, including English-to-French translations.
  • Stay updated on dental health regulations to support communication with regulatory bodies and assist with policy development.
  • Support applications and registrations with governing bodies.

What we're looking for

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline, with a strong foundation in healthcare administration and compliance.
  • Ability to learn relevant laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks in the dental and healthcare industry.
  • Experience in the dental industry is a significant asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and managing small to medium projects independently.
  • Sound judgment and autonomy in decision-making, with tact and discretion in handling sensitive issues.
  • A reliable team player who supports internal stakeholders effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset.
  • Experience in dental settings is an asset.
