Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Quality Project Specialist to join the Global Quality Strategy & PMO team. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor strategic quality initiatives across a global, regulated environment.

Qualifications

About the role

The Quality Project Specialist will be part of the Global Quality Strategy & PMO team and will support the planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of strategic quality and audit readiness initiatives across a complex, global organization.

This role is ideal for a project professional who thrives in a highly regulated environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to drive program execution, governance, communication, risk management and organizational readiness activities. The successful candidate will partner closely with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations and other business stakeholders to help ensure critical initiatives are delivered on schedule and aligned with business objectives.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
Project and program management
  • Support the delivery of strategic quality and compliance initiatives using established project management methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to help ensure project activities remain on track.
  • Track project performance and progress against agreed-upon objectives.
  • Facilitate project team meetings, workshops and stakeholder reviews.
  • Maintain action, issue, risk and decision logs and ensure timely follow-up.
Audit readiness and quality support
  • Support audit readiness activities across multiple business functions and sites.
  • Coordinate the preparation and review of documentation, evidence packages and readiness assessments.
  • Track remediation activities and commitments through completion.
  • Assist with monitoring quality- and compliance-related programs and associated metrics.
  • Identify risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement and escalated as appropriate.
Governance and reporting
  • Prepare executive reports, dashboards, status updates and presentation materials for leadership reviews.
  • Ensure project governance requirements are met and project documentation remains current.
  • Support program planning forums, steering committees and decision-making meetings.
  • Collect, analyze and communicate project data to support informed leadership decisions.
Stakeholder engagement and change support
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing and other business functions.
  • Support communication and change management activities to drive engagement and program adoption.
  • Facilitate alignment among diverse stakeholder groups and assist with issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution, reporting, governance and business processes.
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of PMO tools, templates and best practices.
  • Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality PMO.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, quality, health care or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management, PMO, quality, operations or business transformation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects in a regulated environment.
  • Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, health care, manufacturing or another regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, audit readiness, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), compliance or remediation programs.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience developing project dashboards and leadership-level reporting.

Minimum Salary: $59,900

Maximum Salary: $108,900

The anticipated compensation and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – seewww.bscbenefitsconnect.com --will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
