Job summary

Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Engineer to oversee QA metrics, internal audits, and CAPA processes in a standards-based manufacturing environment. Strong GD&T proficiency and CQE or CSA B51/CSA N299 experience are highly regarded.

Base salary is $65,000–$95,000 per year, with 2–5 years of manufacturing quality engineering required. The role involves collaboration across teams, audits, and documentation updates to support regulatory and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Quality, or related Engineering field.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role.
  • Experience working in a regulated or standards-based environment (ISO 9001, CSA N299, CSA B51, CSA N285).
  • CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or related certification considered an asset.
  • Audit experience / training considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Perform rootcause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actions for product or process non-conformances.
  • Support manufacturing operations through process capability studies, control plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits to verify adherence to customer-specific quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and update quality documentation and inspection criteria.
  • Analyze quality metrics and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
  • Participate in external audits from customers and regulatory agencies.

Job Description

Typical DutiesInclude (but are not limited to):

Key SkillRequirements:

  • Strongknowledge of quality systems and root cause analysismethodologies

  • Proficiency inusing MS Excel, MS Word, and other quality tools andsoftware such as ERP
  • Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and communication skillswith the ability to influence across departments
  • Detail-orientedand self-motivated with a continuous improvementmindset
  • Flexibility towork on tasks in parallel and adapt when prioritieschange
  • Ability todevelop written procedures and instructions incollaboration with manufacturing and QArequirements

KeyExperience/Education:

  • Bachelor’sdegree in Manufacturing, Quality, or related Engineeringfield
  • 2-5 years ofhands-on experience in a manufacturing qualityengineering role
  • Experienceworking in a regulated or standards-based environment.Typical standards are ISO 9001, CSA N299, CSA B51 andCSA N285
