Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our QUALITYteam as a:

QUALITY MANAGER

The Quality Manager is responsible to ensure the Plant specific Quality Systems are being complied with by all departments at Plasman.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality objectives to support corporate and facility initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Performs audits to ensure process efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop and maintain quality management programs and drive initiatives for corrective actions and improvements.
  • Facilitate quality training programs to ensure team members are equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills.
  • Investigate quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints to develop effective resolutions.
  • Apply root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Work closely with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns and build strong relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation, supporting audits and inspections.
  • Oversee internal audit programs to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure personal and associate awareness of all quality and business-related operating systems (ISO/IATF).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For
  • Post secondary degree or diploma in Quality Management, Engineering or related field; a combination of education, training and years working experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
