MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. Limited is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify product quality against standards and customer requirements in a manufacturing setting.

You will inspect, monitor, and measure quality across fabrication processes and mentor team members to improve productivity. The role requires welding inspection experience, blueprint literacy, and relevant certifications (CWB L1 and CIP Level 1) with willingness to train as needed.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years fabrication experience in welding inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld joint configurations.
• CWB Welding Inspector L1 and SSPC/NACE CIP Level 1 certifications required or willingness to obtain as part of training.

Responsabilidades

• Perform quality inspections in fabrication areas (Saw/Burn/Bend, Welding, Machine Shop, Blast/Paint).
• Read welding requirements from blueprints and drawings.
• Sign off on drawings and inspection tags for completed work.
• Identify NDE requirements and coordinate repairs for non-conforming components.
• Maintain material traceability including heat numbers and serial numbers.
