Valard Construction is seeking a Quality Inspector to support Battery Energy Storage System and Substation construction projects across Canada. The role reports to the Quality Manager and Project Manager and focuses on managing QA/QC activities on sites, inspecting electrical, civil, and structural installations, and ensuring adherence to the Quality Program and ITPs.
This field-based position requires extensive travel (14/7 or 21/7 shifts) with 10-hour days.
Our Quality Team is currently looking to add aQuality Inspector to support Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Substation construction projects across multiple locations in Canada.
Reporting functionally to the Quality Manager, Substations, and operationally to the assigned Project Manager, this role is responsible for managing Quality activities on Valard’s BESS and Substation construction sites. This includes inspecting electrical, civil, and structural installations; implementing Valard’s Quality Program and Quality Management System; and compiling Progressive Turnover Packages in accordance with contractual and client requirements.
Note: This is a field-based role, with regular travel to active project sites across Canada working a 14 days on / 7 days off or 21 days on / 7 days off shift with 10 hour days. Applicants must be willing to travel extensively and hold a valid driver’s license.

This position offers an hourly rate of$38 - $48, depending on experience and qualifications.
