Job summary

AAA Canada is looking for a structural quality inspector in Mirabel (QC) to ensure that structural parts and assemblies adhere to standards. Responsibilities include inspecting components, writing reports, and ensuring compliance with quality procedures.

Qualifications

The structural quality inspector verifies that structural parts and assemblies conform to drawings, standards and client requirements. He/she detects non-conformities and ensures the quality, safety and reliability of aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assemblies and subassemblies.
• Write non-conformity reports.
• Measure process performance.
• Define and carry out corrective and preventive actions.
• Read drawings to validate assemblies.
• Control bores and the installation of fasteners.
• Monitor assemblers' competencies.
• Ensure traceability of information.
• Comply with Quality procedures and processes.

Skills and qualifications

• Vocational diploma in aeronautics (engineering specialization) or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in quality.
• Mastery of inspection techniques.
• Strong knowledge of technical specifications in the aerospace field.
• Knowledge of aeronautical standards (BAPS, AIPI, etc.).
• Quick thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Bilingualism (French - English) oral and written is an important asset.
