Job summary

The Cahill Group, a leading Canadian multi-disciplinary construction company, is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Conklin, AB area. You will monitor welding activities, perform final visual inspections, and verify adherence to inspection and test plans while providing technical input to address welding discrepancies and quality issues.

Responsibilities include coordinating NDE with third-party providers, receiving and inspecting materials, and liaising with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial or large-scale construction projects.
• Minimum CWB Level 2 certification with CSA W47.1/59 and ASME B31.3 endorsement.
• Relevant education, certifications and safety training as applicable.
• Ability to work in Western Canada or on a rotational/project-based schedule.

Cahill is currently recruiting a Quality Inspector in the Conklin, AB area. In this role, you will work closely with the project team to monitor welding activities and conduct final visual weld inspections, ensuring all requirements outlined in inspection and test plans are followed and verified. You will also provide technical input to identify and address welding discrepancies and quality issues. Your strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will help ensure project requirements and standards are consistently met.

Job Details

• Temporary Position until March 2027.
• Work Schedule: 8 days on, 6 days off
• 12 Hour Shifts
