A leading manufacturing company in Alberta seeks a Quality Control Inspector to ensure product quality through inspection and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience with measurement tools, and the ability to communicate effectively. Responsibilities include inspecting materials, preparing reports, and collaborating with various teams. This is a hands-on position requiring physical fitness and the capability to lift materials. Previous QC experience and relevant certifications are advantageous.
The Quality Control (QC) Inspector plays a key role in inspection incoming materials, in-process items, and completed products to verify they meet Variperm’s quality standards. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and includes the responsibility of upholding the Variperm quality management system protocols across the manufacturing floor. This position may involve various shifts and overtime hours depending on the scope of work. The schedules are tentative and may be subject to change. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and self‑directed, capable of multi‑tasking, takes pride in their responsibilities, and works well with minimal supervision.
