AtkinsRéalis is hiring a hiring a Quality Inspector to join our team. This position will be based at our project site located in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Undertakes quality control and quality assurance related inspection activities throughout the design, construction, handover, and closeout phases.
  • Prepares and presents regular progress reports including reporting on key quality metrics including suggesting corrective actions.
  • Ensures conformance to the required quality management standards.
  • Provides input to submittals, RFIs, O&M manuals, and other technical documentation as needed.
  • Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
  • Provides input to documentation for area/equipment turnovers.
  • Implements and follows quality assurance program procedures.

The ideal candidate
  • Minimum 7 years of proven professional experience in a quality control and / or quality assurance function supporting large scale infrastructure projects, airport or aerospace experience is a strong asset
  • Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large complex projects.
  • Minimum 3 years of on-site experience.
  • Good understanding of reporting requirements and experience in providing management reports.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including contractors and other site personnel.
  • Availability to work five days per week on site
