Job summary

Interac is seeking a QA Senior Specialist to ensure high-quality releases across Real Time Rail payments systems. You will design and execute automated and manual testing, support UAT, and collaborate with Product, Development, Operations, Security, and Release Management to drive successful deployments.

The role emphasizes testing strategies, risk identification, and continuous improvement of delivery processes within a hybrid work model in Canada. Eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Testing, or a related role.
  • Experience with functional, integration, and non-functional testing methodologies.
  • Exposure to test automation tools and modern software delivery practices.
  • Ability to analyze issues, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

  • Ensure high-quality, reliable releases through effective test planning, execution, quality engineering, and automation practices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual testing approaches that support release readiness and product quality.
  • Execute functional, integration, and non-functional testing activities, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and resolved prior to release.

  • Contribute to quality metrics, release reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery effectiveness.

Who You Will Work With:

The vacant Quality Engineering, Senior Specialist role will report to Leader Process and Operational Excellence as part of a team providing operational oversight for the Real Time Rail payments systems.


What YouWillDo:
