Job summary

Mattel, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Quality Engineering to lead a team ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the product development lifecycle. You will shape quality strategies across assigned brands and collaborate with global teams to drive reliable products.

You will coach and develop engineers, manage resources, and influence cross-functional decisions to uphold consumer expectations and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in product development, manufacturing, quality, or related roles.
• Previous experience leading engineers or cross-functional programs; people management preferred.
• Knowledge of global toy/consumer product safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Engineers and develop talent.
• Define and execute quality strategies across brands and product areas.
• Partner with Marketing, Design, Product Development, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams.
• Monitor KPIs and drive data-driven decisions to improve quality, safety and compliance.
