Job summary

Med-Eng is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist to lead regulatory, conformity, and quality assurance activities across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and external stakeholders to ensure global market access.

The role requires strong knowledge of global regulations, superb documentation control, and the ability to manage audits and certifications. Travel internationally may be needed.

Qualifications

• University-level degree in engineering, science, QA, regulatory affairs, or related field.
• 5–7 years in product compliance, quality, engineering, or supply-chain compliance.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, PPE, or other highly regulated environments preferred.
• Knowledge of global chemical, material, packaging, environmental, and conformity obligations (REACH, RoHS, PFAS, CE).
• Ability to interpret regulations, standards, contracts, drawings, and test reports.

Responsibilities

• Own and update the product compliance framework for global markets.
• Monitor regulatory changes and lead compliance gap assessments.
• Identify and track regulatory, supplier, and product conformity risks.
• Integrate compliance into product development, sourcing, and manufacturing.
• Lead compliance programs for REACH, RoHS, PFAS, TSCA, CA Prop 65, etc.
• Coordinate supplier declarations, test reports, and documentation.
• Support material selection and supply continuity with compliance in mind.
• Manage product certification, conformity activities, and recertification.
• Maintain technical files, declarations, certificates, and test reports.
• Review and approve compliance-related labels, warnings, and manuals.
