Group Summary :

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies shaping the future of mobility. We develop vehicle access experiences, intelligent vision systems, and advanced lighting technologies, driving innovation, safety, and style.

Job Responsibilities :

  1. Support Manufacturing Engineers with carryover programs, new launches, and prototype builds.
  2. Analyze issues affecting quality (PPM) and productivity (OEE).
  3. Update measurable data, presentation materials, and tracking documents for monthly reviews and meetings.
  4. Assist with quotations for current programs and new opportunities.
  5. Perform ergonomic and safety risk assessments and assist with audits.
  6. Understand the relevance of activities to quality and environmental standards.
  7. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of work experience.
  • Enrollment in a co-op post-secondary program, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience in automotive or assembly manufacturing is a plus.
  • PLC knowledge is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Ability to read AutoCAD layouts and blueprints.
  • Understanding of ergonomics is beneficial.
