Ensures the quality of technology-delivered products by working closely with applications, services, middleware, and infrastructure teams throughout the development lifecycle. Designs, develops, executes, and maintains test plans for infrastructure, services, data, and applications across environments. Records testing results, detects failures, and maintains defect repositories. Reviews documentation such as business requirements and specifications to inform testing activities. Provides immediate response to production issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Guides review and evaluation of requirements for testability, ensuring adherence to review processes.
2. Recommends and implements solutions based on issue analysis and business impact.
3. Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
4. Leads initiatives, coordinating resources and managing problems to resolution.
5. Performs independent analysis to resolve strategic issues.
6. Supports strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Monitors performance and addresses issues.
8. Analyzes data and provides insights and recommendations.
9. Develops and implements comprehensive test strategies.
10. Designs and supports testing strategies for complex solutions across platforms.
11. Analyzes test results, prepares evaluation reports, and verifies system performance.
12. Creates discrepancy reports and performs regression testing for fixes.
13. Derives requirements for testability and maintains testing documentation.
14. Ensures testing stability and efficiency to enable seamless customer experience.
15. Executes test cases, reports defects, and communicates results.
16. Recommends process improvements and drives automation capabilities.
17. Shares expertise, mentors, and builds communities of practice.
18. Stays current with industry trends through professional participation.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years in software testing, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience in test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr) and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, Appium).
• Understanding of CI/CD, SDLC, testing concepts, and metrics.
• Knowledge of BMO applications and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring team members and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to analyze data, translate technical concepts, and use testing metrics for improvements.
• Deep technical proficiency through extensive education and experience.
• Verbal & written communication skills, collaboration, and influence skills - in-depth.

Salary: $74,800.00 - $138,600.00

Pay Type: Salaried
