Job description

Position Overview : The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of quality are maintained in all aspects of product development, production, and delivery. This includes developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting audits, analyzing data and metrics, creating error proofing systems, and designing product control plans.

Location : St Louis, MO

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000 + 8% bonus DOE

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement quality control processes, including inspection, testing, and other procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of processes and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Design and implement error proofing systems to ensure accuracy and reduce defective products.
  • Create product control plans to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality standards.
  • Provide support and guidance to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to upper management.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Project Management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
