Job summary

Universal Precision Technology in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a quality inspector to conduct comprehensive inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. You will analyze inspection data to identify trends and improve processes, while documenting results in our quality management system.

The role requires a strong background in QA/QC within manufacturing, proficiency with calipers and precision instruments, and at least 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in quality control, quality inspection, and QA/QC processes
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers and other precision instruments
• Minimum 3 years quality assurance / control
• CNC machining process experience, an asset

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measurement tools such as calipers
• Perform detailed analysis of inspection data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for process improvement
• Utilize quality management systems to document inspection results accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, test results, and corrective actions taken
