Description:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with electrical and electronic systems experience to support automotive product and process development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with components such as ECUs, switches, wiring, displays, cameras, sensors, and more. You will lead quality convergence activities, root-cause investigations, and cross-functional coordination to resolve production and supplier quality issues.

Requirements:

Quality Engineer (Electrical experience is needed)

Location: Windsor, ON

MUST HAVE: Electrical experience.

Any experience with electronics such as electronic control units, control modules, switches, key fobs, wiring, radios, displays, batteries, starters, alternators, Body Control Module, navigation units, connectivity modules, backup cameras, parking sensors.

Solid understanding of product and process development in an automotive or manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action methodologies to diagnose and resolve production and quality issues.

Ability to lead and coordinate a cross-functional engineering team responsible for product/process evolutions, supplier quality, and plant quality convergence.

Minimum 1 year but 3 years preferred.

Remote hybrid work with 3 days in the office and flexibility.

Will this position require driving a Stellantis vehicle? Yes, for testing vehicles and parts.

Testing will be on public roads or onsite at the facility. Normal driving conditions.

Travel: 10-30%, depending on need.

Locations: Windsor / Detroit/Toledo area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or applicable technical engineering degree from an accredited university.
• 2+ years practical experience in Automotive Engineering, Engineering Quality, or Manufacturing Quality.
• Experience with problem-solving tools and statistics.
• Proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite tools.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, minimal supervision.
• Leadership and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (0-20%).
