TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer position.
Overall Purpose
Optimize engineering performance for specified site
Ensure site team is fulfilling missions as related to engineering services
Promote positive changes and training at site pertaining to engineering services
Proactively recognize additional engineering services and recommend to customer
Support and contribute to the company Quality Policies and QMS
Reports to
General Manager
Responsibilities
Point of contact and TRIGO engineering representation within site, interface with customer on new mission set up
Ensures client satisfaction and building of solid relationships.
Ensures clear and transparent communication to all engineering clients at the site
Develops engineering business with existing clients and up selling (support provided by Sales for the quotation preparation and / or negotiation)
Provides information on new client opportunities (to Sales teams) pertaining to operations and engineering
Assists in contributing to and / or making proper engineering quotations within the site
Serves as liaison with client members pertaining to special client request
Operations
Responsible for engineering related costs and reports related to engineering missions to the customer
Executes assessments / audits as per guidelines on ongoing missions
Monitors site engineering missions for proper documentation / information
Makes sure engineering tools and equipment are up-to-date, with accurate information
Ensures compliance with established engineering KPI's for site
Ensures continuous improvement to optimize engineering service within the site
Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies
Organization & management
Assists / monitors overall services provided within site on a daily basis
Develops / trains site teams to assist with engineering service as related to missions
Promotes workplace improvements and development
Technical
Analyzes engineering requirements within the site (existing or upcoming)
Assists in pulling additional engineering resources when needed to anticipate and address client needs
Develops additional engineering expertise on site as needed
