Group Summary

The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.

Job Responsibilities

1. Analysis of internal (trends, scrap, SPC, etc) and customer (warranty, PPM, returns, etc) to drive actions focused on continuous improvement.
2. Interface with Manufacturing to implement continuous improvement opportunities on new and mature products (lead or drive initiatives on the plant floor).
3. Interface with customer and present corrective action plan.
4. Interface with Product Engineering from initial design to final launch of program.
5. CFT responsibilities, TRAX, ChangeX.
6. Implement quality systems, CofQ Analysis and CI implementation.
7. Develop timelines and ensure timely completion of all quality requirements.
8. Evaluate and implement Engineering Change Proposals.
9. E-coat/ powder coat process and quality analysis.
10. Root cause analysis for EPP foam/ e-coat/ powder coat quality issue and drive systemic corrective actions.
11. Implement soft launch strategy with exit plan.
12. Other duties as required.
