As the Quality and Education Program Lead, you will be instrumental in leading accreditation and quality improvement initiatives across our organization, ensuring the highest standards in clinical practice and safety.

About The Role While this role can be performed remotely within BC, it does require regular travel to our communities in Kelowna, the Lower Mainland, and Victoria for on-site support.
The Quality and Education Program Lead is a critical position at Baptist Housing, focusing on leading accreditation efforts, managing quality processes, and developing education and training programs.
You will lead the development of clinical and safety guidelines and policies while working closely with the QE team, leaders, and regulatory bodies.
By designing educational resources, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, you will contribute to improving care for seniors in our communities. This role also includes providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ensure continuous professional development for our team members.
You will work with various teams to maintain high standards of care, quality, and safety, using data-driven strategies for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Quality Leadership : Lead and coordinate accreditation activities for Long-Term Care (LTC) communities. Develop education materials based on research and best practices to meet clinical learning needs. Support continuous quality improvements to enhance care, services, and program effectiveness. Provide consultations on clinical practice, scope of practice, and concerns in collaboration with provincial regulatory bodies. Education and Training : Assess education needs, develop educational resources, and support implementation of education plans. Develop and provide oversight for programs to meet legislated, provincial, and accreditation standards. Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs Leadership and Collaboration : Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical best practices and assist in policy development. Collaborate with various teams, including the QE team and external partners, to ensure consistent delivery of education and quality improvement programs. Act as an ambassador of Baptist Housing, modeling servant leadership, fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and team members. Additional Responsibilities : Conduct assessments and environmental scans of practice gaps and challenges. Use data analytics to drive safety and quality improvements. Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive quality and safety plans aligned with organizational goals. Requirements A healthcare-related degree is required (e.g., RN, Dietitian, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist). Master's degree in nursing (MSN), Education (M.Ed.), or a related field with clinical experience is preferred. Gerontology certification or equivalent experience working with seniors in healthcare settings. Minimum of 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, preferably in long-term care, residential care, or assisted living. Demonstrated expertise in program development and facilitation (e.g., wound care, diabetes, pain management, falls prevention). Familiarity with accreditation processes and healthcare facility standards. Strong understanding of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and Minimum Data Set (MDS). Proven skills in project management and change leadership. Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other digital tools. Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time. About You You are an experienced healthcare leader with a passion for quality improvement, resident safety, and lifelong learning.

Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with an annual salary range of $115,000 - $125,000.
