Job summary

Bird Construction is seeking a Civil/Concrete Quality Coordinator to support QA/QC on the Advanced Nuclear Materials Research Centre project. The role ensures compliance with project specs, codes and quality requirements at Chalk River, Ontario.

You will develop CITPs, review drawings and specifications, coordinate inspections and NCR actions, and work with construction teams, engineers and inspectors to uphold quality standards on a major civil/concrete program.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of QA/QC experience in civil, concrete, heavy industrial, infrastructure, or nuclear construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of CSA A23.1 / A23.2, CSA A23.4; CSA N299 / N286 considered an asset.
  • Experience with ITPs/CITPs, NCR management, and construction quality documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

This role will ensure civil and concrete construction activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality requirements.
