Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Quality Coordinator to drive site quality and ensure compliance across trades on major Canadian construction projects. You will lead QA/QC activities, coordinate ITPs, perform regular inspections, and manage NCR processes to protect project quality and schedule.

The role requires a proactive, independent leader with 5+ years of construction QA/QC experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to enforce technical requirements on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of construction specifications, drawings, and applicable codes/standards.
• Experience with inspections, testing coordination, and NCR management.
• Ability to interpret and enforce technical requirements on site.
• Comfortable working independently in a site-based leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Define inspection requirements, hold points, acceptance criteria, and documentation needs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and issue clear, actionable reports.

• Maintain complete, traceable quality records (inspections, testing, NCRs).
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors.
• Act as the primary quality authority on site, driving compliance across all trades.

What You Will Do

Additional Requirements

• Eligibility to obtain secret clearance is required.
• Experience developing or managing ITPs
• Exposure to ISO 9001 or structured QMS environments
• Experience on large or complex construction projects
