Job summary

IPEX, a leading plastic piping systems manufacturer in Scarborough, ON, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team. You will work closely with the Quality Manager to run the quality program, perform product tests, document results, and support production teams to ensure compliance with standards.

The role is on-site, full-time, permanent, with a 12-hour continental rotating shift and starting salary of $29.03/hour.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; experience in manufacturing is preferred.
Understanding of quality control processes and standard testing procedures.
Ability to read and interpret product specifications and testing procedures.
Experience with dimensional and mechanical testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform product tests to verify compliance with company and third-party standards.
Accurately document and communicate all test results to relevant stakeholders.
Conduct inspections throughout production and maintain clear records.
Provide product specifications for each start-up and verify that parameters meet criteria.
Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with housekeeping expectations.
Support HSE Management Systems and the 5S program.
