With a production facility in China and sales office in Toronto since 2008, we are securing a strong brand and reputation in low volume Turn-key PCB assembly in the EMS industry.
Currently, in order to fulfil the rapidly increase product demands, a new production facility has been setup in Markham, ON. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Incoming Quality Check Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of incoming electronic components, materials, and assemblies in accordance with established quality control procedures and specifications.
- Utilize various inspection methods, including visual inspection, dimensional measurements, and functional testing, to assess the quality and performance of incoming materials.
- Identify and document non-conforming items, defects, and discrepancies, and initiate appropriate corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to address quality-related issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes, optimize efficiency, and minimize defects in incoming materials.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality control procedures to promote a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality control or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in quality control, inspection, or testing, particularly in electronic manufacturing or a related industry, is advantageous.
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with electronic components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and analyze quality issues effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, testing equipment, and quality inspection techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
