Job summary

FLINT is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a Fort Mackay project through December 2026, starting in October. The role features a 14/7 schedule with 12-hour days, camp accommodations, and flights from Edmonton or Calgary.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years in QA with hydrotesting, materials and closure welds, strong ASME/CSA knowledge, and safety tickets CSTS-2020, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and WHMIS. English proficiency and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Quality Control, specifically hydrotesting, materials, and closure welds.
• Strong working knowledge of ASME and CSA code requirements.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: CSTS-2020, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, WHMIS.
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in varying conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract (under 6 demerits).

Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a project till December, 2026 in Fort Mackay, AB starting October. In this position, you will enjoy a 14/7 schedule, 12-hour workdays, camp accommodations, flights from our flight hubs (Edmonton and Calgary), and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Quality Control specifically working with Hydrotesting, Materials and Closure Welds.
• Strong working knowledge of both American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) code requirements.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:

• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
