Job summary

Nhwelmen Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Coordinator for the Highland Valley Copper, MLE Project in Logan Lake, BC. The role focuses on ensuring all earthworks meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards through inspections, testing, and documented process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of QC/inspection experience on earthworks or civil projects, with knowledge of soil mechanics and testing methods.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QC experience in civil earthworks or similar.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with soil mechanics and testing procedures.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor a quality control plan for earthworks on site.
• Perform on-site inspections across project phases and document results.
• Oversee soil testing, compaction verification, and material quality checks.
• Maintain project documentation including reports and non‑conformances.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and engineers to address issues promptly.
