Job summary

Flexera is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to build and maintain automated testing for our IT Asset Management solutions. You will craft robust test strategies, implement automation, and collaborate across teams to ensure reliability and performance.

You will develop and execute tests using Selenium, NUnit, and TestNG, while leveraging AWS and Terraform for cloud-oriented test environments. Hybrid work and strong problem-solving are expected in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in designing automated test scripts with Selenium, NUnit, TestNG.
• Strong technical expertise in cloud computing, preferably AWS, with Terraform exposure.
• Experience with Git and CI tools like Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Set up automated testing environments integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, prioritize, and automate test cases based on risk and coverage.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate tests into the dev process and provide feedback on quality.
• Perform manual testing for scenarios not amenable to automation and document defects.
• Participate in code reviews to improve testability and quality.

• We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in setting up, writing, and building functional automation tests for our cutting-edge IT Asset Management solution
• The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through the development and implementation of robust automated testing framework. You will be responsible for helping build the test strategy, and design, develop, and support test automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans for functional automation testing
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our software products ensuring thorough coverage using NUnit, MSTest, or an equivalent framework
• Set up and configure automated testing environments, ensuring seamless integration with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Identify and prioritize test cases for automation, considering risk, impact, and coverage
• Work closely with software developers to integrate automated tests into the development process and provide timely feedback on code quality
• Investigate and analyze test failures, working collaboratively with the development team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Perform manual testing for scenarios that cannot be automated, ensuring thorough coverage
• Identify, isolate, and document software defects using established defect tracking tools
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testability
