Wieland is hiring a Quality Auditor. The Quality Auditor will ensure all received materials are suitable for inventory and serve as the last line of defense to verify processed materials meet customer requirements, maintaining the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance.

This role is located in Ontario, CA and will be fully on-site.

Hourly Pay Range: $24.00/hr.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 1st Shift

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect physical attributes of incoming products for compliance using hand tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Perform inspections and audits on outgoing products to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
  • Manage physical movement of materials to and from quality hold areas.
  • Coordinate calibration activities, maintain logs, and monitor tool status.
  • Read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and quality data.
  • Identify risks in inspection methods and report issues for resolution.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting quality metrics and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in audits, providing documentation and records.
  • Engage actively in a culture of continual improvement.

Qualifications:

  • High school or trade school diploma.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and measuring tools preferred.
  • Strong math skills for conversions and calculations.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Desire for professional development and certifications like Six Sigma or CQI.
