Quality Assurance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain QMS: Ensure the QMS is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP chemical processing.
2. Assist in preparation and following up on internal and external audits.
3. Investigate quality issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve defects.
4. Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for continuous quality improvement.
5. Conduct follow-up audits to assess the effectiveness of corrective actions in anodizing and painting operations.
6. Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance quality control in aerospace surface treatments.
7. Maintain TNM’s specification library, standards and documentation including the procedures up to date.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality assurance with production and laboratory processes.

Requirements:

1. 2-5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in chemical processing.
2. Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP chemical processing standards.
3. Experience in maintaining and improving a Quality Management System (QMS) and conducting root cause analysis.
4. Strong communication, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
5. Ability to stay current with aerospace standards and update the QMS for continued compliance.
6. Fluency in English is required. French is an asset.
7. Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year
