Job Description and Criteria required:

  • Enforce QA program through communication with production personnel in the plant;
  • Problem solve & trouble-shoot product quality issues;
  • Monitor staff and surroundings for good manufacturing practices (GMPs);
  • Monitor thermal processing program and work directly with retort team and on-site thermal processing authority
  • Experience with implementation of record keeping – completion of FS/QA forms and related paperwork and related data entry;
  • Knowledge of BRC, CFIA/FDA regulatory requirements;
  • Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, BRC, and internal auditing
  • Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisor;
  • Completing microbiological, chemical, allergen and physical product testing and required documentation;
  • Perform pre- and post-operational inspections on equipment;
  • Product research and development;
  • Coordinating documentation from suppliers
  • Monitor thermal processing program and work directly with retort team and on-site thermal processing authority
  • Other duties as required by the Management team.
