Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for Two (2) Quality Assurance (QA) Testers to assist our in-house Quality Assurance group.

The QA Testers’ responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Execute testing services for assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain test cases/ test suites from a comprehensive test plan.
• Run test cases according to schedule, comprehend the results of testing, describe the results of testing, submit defect reports, retest defect resolutions.
• Provide details of what caused defects to occur and work with resolution team to resolve, determine best course of action to take to replicate defects to determine root cause of the problem.
• Concisely communicate test coverage, status and remaining work to the Test Lead. Provide reports of testing activities, identify testing impediments and escalate them effectively, provide recommendations on test approach and improvements.
• Coordinate with infrastructure team to ensure the test environments are adequately set up for test cycles(s). Provide test environment requirements; manage test environment configurations; submit environment request to Environment Management team and work with them on proper environment set up.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and actively participate in other related projects and duties as assigned. Participate in any testing analysis required to effectively deliver testing services; set up test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing, develop and/ or execute automation tests.

Mandatory skillset and expertise:

• Intermediate (4-9 years) to Senior (10+ years) level QA experience
• Direct Gaming and/or Digital IT experience would be considered an asset.

Key Skill Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to differentiate the symptoms from the issue.
• Testing Certification would be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of performance testing and automation methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of quality management tools such as requirements management, test management and defect management.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
