Qualifications

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  2. Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  4. Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  5. Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
  6. Ensure that all products undergo testing and inspection before delivery to customers.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all relevant requirements.
  8. Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in production.
  9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  10. Manage customer complaints and feedback, implementing corrective actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
  9. $75K starting salary. Increase to $85K after successfully completing 3-month evaluation period. Opportunities for further advancement as candidate demonstrates competence and dedication. $120K upon successful accreditation, PMR achieving AS9100 certification. PMR is an ISO9002 compliant company.
