About the Opportunity
The Quality Assurance Lead (Cyclotron) develops and maintains a QA program for the PET Radiopharmaceutical Laboratory, ensuring compliance with all Health Canada regulatory requirements to maintain GMP licensing. This role oversees PET QA activities and ensures policies and procedures are properly implemented. It also assists the Nuclear Medicine Radiopharmacy with SOP development and maintenance related to USP 797 standards. The position works closely with the Team Lead PET Chemist and Lead Technologist, Provincial Radiopharmacy.
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related science/technology field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a GMP and/or USP 797 environment (pharmaceutical, radiopharmaceutical, or biopharmaceutical)
- Quality management and leadership experience in a GMP-compliant pharmaceutical setting
- Strong knowledge of GMP, USP 797, and Health Canada guidelines
- Experience with regulatory inspections and audits (e.g., CNSC)
- Track record in facilitating audits
- Extensive knowledge of radiopharmacy and radiochemistry (preferred)
- Competency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and independent working skills
- Knowledge of USP 797 standards (asset)
- Additional language skills, especially French (asset)

Hours
• Permanent full-time; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Benefits
$40.95 - $51.19 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, travel, disability, life insurance, and a pension plan.
