The Opportunity

Closing Date: May 7, 2025

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join our IT Project Management Office (PMO) Leadership team. Reporting to the Manager, Solution Analysis, you will lead a team of 8-10 QA Analysts to drive maximum value delivered by our team of QA Analysts.


Key elements of this role include:


  • Lead and manage a team of QA Analysts, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee the documentation of QA processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending effective solutions.
  • Support the Solution Analysis Manager to deliver timely and accurate quality reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Prioritize and manage the team's workload, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of test planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed.
  • Design, develop and execute test plans.
  • Monitor and report on the quality of systems or applications under test.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience as a QA Team Lead or similar role, with a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with test management tools is considered an asset.
  • Experience with test automation tools and scripting is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: ISTQB certification or equivalent.
