A Taleo client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to provide leadership and oversight across testing activities for complex technology initiatives. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in quality assurance, test planning, and team leadership, with the ability to work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership to ensure solutions are delivered to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall QA and testing strategy across projects and initiatives
• Develop and oversee test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing schedules
• Coordinate functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
• Provide guidance and mentorship to QA analysts and other testing resources
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure appropriate test coverage
• Lead defect management activities, including prioritization, tracking, escalation, and resolution
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues
• Support and coordinate UAT activities with business users
• Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics, providing regular updates to project leadership
• Establish and improve QA standards, processes, tools, and best practices
• Identify opportunities for test automation and continuous improvement
• Ensure testing documentation and evidence are complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience leading QA activities on complex technology projects
• Strong experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Experience leading and mentoring QA or testing resources
• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and testing workstreams in a fast-paced project environment
