Quality Assurance Lab Technician/Blending

Location: Watertown, WI

Shift/Work Schedule: 9:30 pm - 6:00 am, Monday - Friday

Pay Range: $23.85 plus $1.50 shift premium

About the Job

• Sanitize tanks and equipment to ensure company food quality and food safety standards are maintained.
• Locate necessary ingredients in inventory and transport to the syrup room for mixing. Blend syrup ingredients according to established standards and procedures.
• Utilize laboratory test equipment to perform product quality tests on control drinks and finished products, inspect raw materials, and conduct bacteriology, CO2, and HPLC testing.
• Perform production line setup and monitor the process; troubleshoot and record problems.
• Comply with all personal safety, food safety, GMP, and sanitation regulations.
• Complete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner.

About You

• Experience in batching and blending, as well as as a lab technician.
• Ability to use a computer and scanner.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability and desire to work within a team but can work independently.
• Works with minimal supervision, is a self-starter, dependable, and leads by example.
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities under pressure.
• Ability to work in temperatures of 60-90 degrees or more.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak production periods.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
