We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial inspections and a keen eye for detail. This role is crucial in ensuring our products and services meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct verification of critical inspections/tests.
  • Audit inspection records and processes against applicable procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Instruct new employees in QMS/ISO procedures and guidelines.
  • Attend and conduct quality-related meetings.
  • Initiate and resolve non-conformances.
  • Lead corrective and preventive action (CA/PA) processes where applicable.
  • Update and control written documentation.
  • Write and issue new quality-related instructions.
  • Conduct investigations in support of root cause analyses (RCAs).
  • Review and address any vendor quality issues.
  • Perform tool verification and maintain the calibration system.
  • Collaborate with shop leadership and the quality organization to execute the quality strategy.
  • Perform other quality and customer service tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Secondary education.
  • ASQ CQT or other quality-related designations will be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with a company Quality Program and auditing.
  • Proficient with computer and software, especially MS Office.
  • Comfortable delivering training and information sessions.
  • Comfortable interacting with work leaders and shop floor employees.
  • Customer and quality-oriented.
  • Committed to developing, maintaining, and improving the quality of processes and services.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Organized and results-oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills and strong analytical abilities.
