Our growing company is seeking an energetic, positive, and reliable Quality Assurance Coordinator to support our Team and Customers. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager/Director, the Quality Assurance Coordinator supports the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Nuclear Management System (NMS) and Quality Management System (QMS), including drafting and revising the NMS Manual (NMSM), the QMS Manual, and related documents, and preparing reports as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in quality management programs through attendance in training courses, seminars, contacts with professional organizations and literature reviews in accordance with the QA qualifications and training requirements.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the NMS and QMS documents (preparation, control, and revisions thereto). Review procedures and other documents used to implement the NMS and QMS Programs requirements.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on QA activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate on internal audits, as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager/Director.
  • Participate in oversight activities related to implementation of the NMS and QMS at NSI. This includes, but not limited to, observations, self assessments, detailed gap analysis, synthesis of lessons learned during the delivery of programs and projects and the incorporation of this information into the NMS or QMS, as applicable.
  • Identify quality problems, initiate, verify implementation of solutions, and assure, if applicable, that further processing, delivery, installation, or use is controlled until proper disposition of a nonconformance, deficiency, or unsatisfactory condition has occurred.
  • Interface effectively with representatives from all levels of the organization regarding NMS and QMS requirements, concerns, and resolutions.
  • Assist with regulatory and quality training sessions.
  • Communicate plans, actions, risks, and issues with QA Manager.
  • Adhere to timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage and build relationships with multiple departments.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business (or equivalent through education and experience).
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with quality management systems.
  • Certified Quality Auditor is an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with implementation of Corrective Action Program, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Process Improvement practices.
  • Self-directed with flexibility to a changing workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain open communications among multiple teams.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Reliable and dependable.
