POSITION SUMMARY :

The Quality Assurance Associate will support production quality through the development, implementation and continuous improvement of policies, procedures and systems, that safeguard our product and champions a quality culture.

ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
• Work with production to resolve product and process related quality issues to bring batch records to a timely and accurate closure
• Review and sign off for line clearances within the production process
• Issue work orders and labels to production and control and maintenance of the lot coding system within MPL
• Review batch product batch to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
• Aid the release procedure of products through label creation and transcription / review of MPL CoAs
• Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
• Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
• Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines
• Identify training needs and act to ensure compliance
• Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
• Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development
• Maintenance of processes and procedures, to ensure product quality is within acceptable specifications
• Review and update batch records, logbooks and various SOPs
• Aid Quality Control when required for production needs
• Work as part of the QA team promoting a quality culture within the company

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s degree in science related field
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices and procedures
