Qualifications

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join BrokerLink at our Toronto office on a Permanent FT basis .

The Position : The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst develops detailed test plans, reviews team plans, and oversees testing activities from planning through execution to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. They mentor team members on testing best practices, perform manual and automation testing, and track metrics for continuous process improvement.

What the Role Entails :

  • Leading QA activities, managing workflows, tasks, and priorities.
  • Mentoring team members on QA policies, methodologies, and emerging technologies.
  • Providing project guidance, assessing scope, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Reviewing test plans, cases, and results, and creating regression suites.
  • Acting as a liaison between QA and other stakeholders to align testing strategies.
  • Managing QA metrics and SLAs, supporting the manager in their definition.
  • Participating in project and team meetings, supporting testing during off-peak hours as needed.

The Successful Candidate will have :

  • Relevant skills or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on software QA experience.
  • Experience with manual, automated testing, API, SQL.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and test automation tools, including TestComplete.
  • Knowledge of white box, black box, performance, and security testing.
  • Ability to write clear test plans and cases.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, DevOps, and testing tools.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • QA or test automation certifications (preferred).
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Insurance background is a plus.
  • Ability to pass background and credit checks.
