As a trusted partner to some of the world’s most innovative companies, we’re on a mission to help redefine how we as a company go to market and unlock the next wave of growth.

It all starts with you!

Last year, we launched the QNX Everywhere program, which is changing the game for engineers and software developers, providing free access to QNXsoftware and resources for non-commercial use. As Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in developing the vibrant and active community around QNX Everywhere.

In this newly created Developer Marketing Manager position, you will be pivotal in establishing and executing strategic marketing plans to engage and grow our developer community. Utilising your strong background in marketing along with your deep understanding of the developer mindset, you will interact with technical audiences, translating complex concepts into clear, developer-relevant content, and driving authentic engagement across multiple channels. This is a highly visible position and some international travel may be required.

Why Join QNX:

  • Be at the forefront of the software-defined transformation of the automotive industry.
  • Collaborate with a global, passionate, and supportive team.
  • Drive tangible business outcomes and influence the future direction of our company.
  • Competitive compensation, bonus and benefits package

You will:

  • Establish and execute developer community strategic marketing plans through a variety of marketing channels and content tactics.
  • Define, organize, and manage the project's community programs from a marketing perspective.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with engineering, university program managers, marketing, and events teams.
  • Serve as a credible technical voice in the developer community by creating and sharing hands-on content such as tutorials that showcase the power of QNX technologies.
  • Create and curate technical content: produce hands-on, technically accurate materials such as tutorialsand best practice guides that help developers understand and use QNX technologies.
  • Manage developer community feedback, activity, and expectations.
  • Implement tools to engage with community opinion leaders and players in forums, Discord, Reddit, etc.
  • Coordinate communication, activities, and community-centric events—including hackathons, university events, developer dialogues, and tournaments—across multiple global departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, social networks, engineering, and product management, to ensure cohesive messaging,
  • Leverage community leads and transversal teams to create meaningful content for our developers (e.g., blogs, podcasts, interviews, infographics, livestreams, VLOGs, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Product and Social Media Managers to define and report on content KPIs to demonstrate the success and ROI of community programs and content.

You will have:

  • Proven experience managing online developer communities and developing strategic plans or programs with demonstrable success in a professional setting.
  • Strong technical background or previous experience as a developer or technical marketer; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience engaging directly with developers in forums, technical discussions, and events; empathetic to their mindset, motivations, and challenges.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, etc.).
  • Experience working in a demanding production environment with multiple deadlines, metrics for success, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of working with various stakeholders in an international environment to filter and implement developer feedback.
  • Community marketing experience with a focus on scaling and reputation management.
  • Data and audience-focused mindset with the ability to optimize and grow developer communities.
  • Excellent written communication skills to ensure clear, concise, and on-brand messaging.

It would be great if you have any of the following, but if not, we would still love to review your application:

  • Degree in Computer Science or professional experience as a developer or software engineer
  • Product management/marketing experience
  • Experience in social media marketing.
  • Experience with digital asset creation (video, photo, podcasts, etc.)
