Job description

QC Lab Technician

Working Days: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
Working Location: Woodlands Link [Nearest: Admiralty MRT]
Salary: $2000 to $2300

Responsibilities:
  • Perform microbiological laboratory specific methods on materials or finished products, special projects or specified testing as directed
  • Prepare reagent/media preparation, sample collection and identification, sample testing and reporting result
  • Perform accurate recording of analytical results in worksheet and highlight any deviation in quality and safety to superior timely. Assist troubleshooting to find out the root cause of deviation
  • Perform routine lab maintenance, including but not limited to lab cleaning & sanitization, lab environmental monitoring and lab equipment maintenance
  • Conduct sampling at internal and external warehouses and incoming raw materials as required.
  • Participate in quality control, problem solving, continuous quality improvement activities and assist in any out of specification investigation
  • Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures; actively contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Min 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Min Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
  • Prior experience in microbiological testing within the food industry is an advantage.
