Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Airdrie is seeking an experienced Administrative Professional to manage quality control documentation. Responsibilities include monitoring purchase orders, uploading materials, and supporting the Quality Department. The ideal candidate has strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent organizational abilities, and 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative environment.
  • Understanding of process piping drawings is an asset.
  • Ability to learn department-required software.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and process material receiving purchase orders.
  • Data entry and upload of MTRs into the PROPAK MetalTrace System.
  • Ensure documentation meets PROPAK Quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitoring, organizing, and processing material receiving purchase orders and supporting documentation.
  • Data entry and uploading of MTRs into the PROPAK MetalTrace System.
  • Ensuring documentation is uploaded correctly and controlled as per PROPAK Quality standards.
  • Reviewing technical reports and specifications, as required.
  • Uploading documentation to the Quality Control SharePoint site as needed.
  • Supporting other areas of Quality Document Control and QC Inspectors as required.
  • Monitoring and controlling Quality Department purchase orders and related documentation.

Qualifications :

  • Completion of post-secondary education or experience in a technical working environment with an understanding of process piping drawings and information is considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in an administrative environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn other software programs required by the department.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
