Job description

Position Summary

The QC Coordinator will be responsible for executing assigned QC activities on the project site.

Position Details
  • Project located in the Brooks area
  • Expected project duration: 2 months (subject to change)
Core Accountabilities
  • Implement QC requirements at the job site
  • Perform pre-inspection to ensure all installed materials meet standards, drawings, and specifications
  • Conduct interim and final inspections with the owner’s representative as per inspection and testing procedures (I&TP)
  • Create Hydrotest packages and witness testing activities
  • Review Radiographic film
  • Monitor work in progress to ensure QC and project compliance
  • Act as a resource on QC issues
  • Coordinate QC team activities with construction activities
  • Prepare documentation and maintain files for final turnover to the client
Qualifications
Education
  • Level 1 or 2 CWB certification required
  • Relevant technical diploma and/or trade certificate
Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to pass an Alcohol & Drug test
  • Strong client relations skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous record-keeping
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Pro/Blue Beam, etc.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • CSTS 2020 or CSO
  • Bear or Wildlife Awareness course
  • Standard First Aid CPR-C & AED or OFA 1
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
  • Fall Protection Training
  • Arial Work Platform Training
