Job summary

Group Medical Services (GMS) in Canada is hiring a Quality Assurance Testing Specialist to drive exploratory and automated testing across our digital transformation. You will write and execute unit and end-to-end test cases, develop automation scripts with Microsoft Playwright, and liaise with technology, PMO and business teams to ensure quality customer experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 3+ years in software development and QA, plus strong knowledge of QA

Qualifications

• Identify, record, document and track all bugs, and monitor debugging results.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Support and execute testing processes for transformation to meet GMS and vendor needs.
• Liaise with internal teams to identify testing requirements.
• Track quality assurance measures.
• Maintain up to date knowledge with testing tools: Azure DevOps, Jira, PowerBI, Excel, Playwright.

Here’s the role

The Quality Assurance Testing Specialist plays an important role in the success of the business and digital transformation. This position will focus on implementing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product and technology quality. In addition, this position is tasked with identifying issues, defining corrective actions, resolving system integration issues and ensuring quality across all stages of the transformation. Working collaboratively with our technology, PMO and business teams, this position is key to the successful delivery of quality customer experiences and solutions.
