Job description

Position Scope

We are seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of QA Technologist. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical Engineering background, an excellent personality, superior communication skills, and open-mindedness to new ideas and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to develop and implement control panel quality standards.
• Verify important documents such as schematics, instructions, layouts, drawings, piping, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Test and simulate control system hardware and software, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and servo systems, to identify and resolve technical and process-related issues.
• Create an inventory of failure types and develop detailed checklists to assess control panel performance.
• Perform control panel UL, CSA, and EU inspections and prepare FAT documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Abilities

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus.
