Job summary

Great Connections Employment Services presents a QA Technician role at a leading Food & Bakery company in Brampton. Starting as soon as possible, the position is full-time and temporary with a rotational schedule across day, afternoon, and night shifts.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, testing products, calibrating equipment, maintaining logs, investigating quality issues, and supporting cross-functional teams while training new staff on compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• QA/QC experience in a food manufacturing/production setting is preferred.
• Health & Safety and GMP rules awareness.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a loud, hot, fast-paced environment.
• Stand for 8 hours and wear CSA-approved safety shoes.
• Comfortable handling food & baking products.
• English reading/writing/speaking skills.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week according to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Inspects materials, tests products, and monitors production systems for safety and quality.
• Calibrates, cleans, and maintains testing tools and machinery for accurate data.
• Keeps accurate logs of test results and audits, electronically or on paper.
• Investigates root causes of defects and suggests fixes to improve quality.
• Collaborates with production, engineering and management; assists training on compliance.

Our client, a leading Food & Bakery company, is seekingexperienced QA Technician tojoin their team for Brampton facility.

Starting as soon as possible by tomorrow. Full time, Temporary ongoing positions.

Shifts: Rotational schedule after every 2 weeks starting with day shift.

Days 8am-4:30pm; Afternoon 4pm-12:30am; Night 12am-8:30am(Shifts timings may vary depending upon production requirements)

Responsibilities

• -Inspects materials, tests products, and monitors production systems to ensure they meet strict safety and quality standards.
• - Calibrate, clean, and maintain testing tools and machinery to guarantee accurate data collection.
• -Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs of test results and audits.
• -Investigate the root causes of product flaws or customer complaints and suggest fixes to improve overall quality.
• -Work with production, engineering, and management teams while helping train new workers on compliance protocols.

Requirements

• - QA/QC experience for 1-2 years in a food manufacturing/production company is preferred.
• -Health & Safety, GMP rules consicous.
• - Must be physically fit and able to do heavy lifting upto 50 lbs.
• - Must be able to work in a loud, hot and fast paced environment.
• - Must be able to stand for 8 hours shift and can wear CSA Approved safety shoes while working.
• - Comfortable working with food & baking products.
• - General cleaning of plant areas.
• - Must be able to speak, read and write English well.
• - Must be able to work full time 40 hours per week as per scheduled shifts.
• - Full understanding of tasks assigned and able to do them.
